This 2.5-day fashion and beauty intensive is non-stop learning, shooting and growing experience. There are NO other workshops that meet this caliber of image making! You will work with top agency models, incredible hair stylists, makeup artists and wardrobe stylists, all while gaining valuable instruction from renowned fashion photographer Lindsay Adler. You will learn everything from lighting and posing to retouching and post processing, with TONS of time to shoot. This is a PORTFOLIO building workshop, and at the end of the weekend the images you create will be unmatched. This workshop is perfect for someone interested in learning fashion lighting, retouching, posing, and for anyone wanting to take their portfolio up a notch.
Furthermore, you will learn about breaking into the fashion industry and how to get published. We will spend time in the studio to prepare you for couture image making!

Based in New York City, Lindsay Adler has quickly become one of the most acclaimed and sought-after portrait and fashion photographers in the world. Lindsay is also a passionate educator. In addition to publishing two books on photography, she has filmed several instructional seminars for both Kelby One and Creative Live. October 17: seminar by Lindsay on the Friday evening. The seminar is automatically available to all weekend workshop participants.
October 18-19: two-day intensive hands-on workshop with Lindsay (please note: these are 12-hour days, so attendees will require a certain amount of stamina and should come prepared to work hard).
Workshop attendees will need to furnish their own DSLR camera, with a lens (or lenses) in the 50mm to 200mm focal length range, and have at least a basic understanding of photographic technology and technique.
You will also need to bring a laptop computer with Adobe Lightroom and/or Photoshop installed if you wish to do touchup work to your photos in post.

Hugh Tull is a Fashion, Beauty, and Portrait photographer based in Vancouver and NYC.
His specialty is making images that have a strong graphic and textural quality. To that end he often searches for symmetry in chaos, while still maintaining the personality and emotion of his subjects. Hugh is constantly adopting new visual techniques in the service of his work and he makes a point of collaborating with some of the best creative minds in the industry.
After graduating from the Art Center College of Design Melissa Rodwell embarked on a globe-spanning career as a fashion photographer. She has lived and worked all over the world, photographing for Ralph Lauren, Nike, Coca Cola, Honda, NBC Television, and Dell Computers. Her editorial assignments have lead to her being published in Harpers Bazaar, L’Officiel, Glassbook, Spirit and Flesh, Kurv, Jimon, Flaunt, And Men, Genlux, and Playboy. Simultaneously, Melissa Rodwell has had numerous solo exhibitions in Amsterdam, Sydney, Los Angeles, and Miami.
With over 30 years in the fashion industry she here clients range from Ralph Lauren, Nike, Playboy, Harper‘s Bazaar, and Vogue. She is co-founder and owner of Breed Networks LLC and Editor in Chief of Alice Magazine.
