Vancouver Death Doulas Present: A Virtual Death Conversation

About this Event

On Thursday, January 28 (4:30-6:00 PM PST), join us for a virtual round of the Death Conversation Game (http://deathconversationgame.com).

Created by Vancouver-based artist Angela Fama in 2018, the Death Conversation Game is a tool for initiating "open conversations on death in safe, respectful environments." Learn more about Fama's commitment to using the Death Conversation Game to start conversations by checking out her TEDx talk (http://y2u.be/7Q2mkXWWiCU).

At this event, Angela will be joined by her collaborator and fellow death doula, Christa Zaganas. A frontline paramedic and former mental health worker who loves walking her dog.

Registered participants will have the option either to actively participate, or respectfully bear witness to an unfolding conversation about myriad aspects of death and dying, from the scientific to the metaphysical.

Register for this free event by January 21, 2021 and you'll be entered into a draw for a free copy of Sharon Hartung's Your Digital Undertaker (https://yourdigitalundertaker.ca/).

The Vancouver Foundation generously funded this free community event through its Neighbhourhood Small Grants program (https://www.vancouverfoundation.ca/grants/neighbourhood-small-grants).

The event's co-organizers humbly reside as uninvited guests on unceded Coast Salish territory.
