About this event
Erin Dingle is a radically neurodivergent poet from Calgary, Canada whose been brightening stages for 13 years. She was Calgary's five-time poetry slam champion, and a repeated national finalist at the Canadian Independent Poetry Slam. She won the Zaccheus Jackson Memorial Award at Verses Festival in 2015.
Erin has also featured and run workshops at events across Canada and the US like VerseFest, WOWPS, the Victoria and Calgary International Spoken Word Festivals, Tiny Lights, Ted-X, YWCA, United Way, CanLearn, the Canadian Philanthropy Foundation and Vibrant Communites Calgary.
She hosted and performed poetry, flow arts and burlesque at Fluid Fest, Nerdgasm, Sin and Gin and Laugh Loft. Erin is also the ongoing poet laureate for Poverty Talks! in Calgary.
Offstage? She is a Mom, a hula hoop artist, and a lover of dogs and voluntary costumes.
