The Vector Institute hosts Health AI Rounds to bring together the broader health research community and seed new collaborations.


If you have machine learning expertise or come from the health sector, please indicate so when you register by selecting a single ticket type.

Please note that reigstration does not guarantee a seat. Seats will be offered on a fist come, first served basis 10 minutes prior to the start time.


We hope that you can join us for the Vector Institute's next Health AI Rounds at 12PM on Thursday, October 31st.

From noon to 1PM, Dr. Jenna Wiens will present her talk "White Coat, Black Box: Augmenting Clinical Care with AI", after which there will be a networking lunch from 1-2PM. Please contact health@vectorinstitue.ai if you have dietary restrictions.

Bio: Jenna Wiens, Ph.D. is a Morris Wellman Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Her primary research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, data mining, and healthcare. The overarching goal of her research agenda is to develop the computational methods needed to help organize, process, and transform patient data into actionable knowledge. Dr. Wiens received her PhD from MIT in 2014. In 2015 she was named Forbes30 under 30 in Science and Healthcare; she received an NSF CAREER Award in 2016; and recently she was named to the MIT Tech Review's list of Innovators Under 35.
