Emily has 10 years of experience growing food and community in the city. She started with a small community garden plot, and now co-owns a transitional organic farm in the North Okanagan. As the manager of the North Shore Neighbourhood House's Edible Garden Project, Emily has spent the last six years engaging the North Shore community in growing food. She's battled against swarms of slugs, buckets of rain, and many of the other common maladies that new gardeners face - join this workshop to learn from her mistakes and experience.
