Venture Studios 101: What’s a Studio and how can I get involved?
About this event
Not all ventures follow the same path, nor is entrepreneurship a straight, or simplified journey. That is why we've designed our Venture Studios, in addition to our foundational Venture Founder CORE and Lab2Launch streams, for teams solving problems across social, climate and human health landscapes.
Tune in January 21st for our Venture Studio Office Hours as part of our ‘Open House Week’ to meet our team and learn why entrepreneurship@UBC’s Venture Studios are right for you!
You will hear from our Studio Leads on what a Studio encompasses and how we help climate, human health and social ventures thrive through nuanced programming, mentorship and support. Plus, you will have a chance to connect with our team directly in Studio-specific breakout rooms and ask your questions in an informal setting.
During this event you will:
- Learn more about entrepreneurship@UBC and how our Venture Studios ‘fit in’
- Gain an in-depth understanding of each of the Climate, Human Health and Social Venture Studios; who they are for and how you can engage
- Meet our Studio Leads in an informal setting and ask your questions directly to our team
