~~About The Show And The Artist~~

Vera’s art is at once abstract yet approachable. It’s somehow bright, easy on the eyes yet deeply emotive and expressive. The viewer cannot but notice the similarities between the visual expression on the canvas and its creator - a petite fiery redhead from Uzbekistan.

Full of vigour, energetic, and prolific, Vera doesn’t so much paint from the heart as from the soul. The art clearly communicates that its creator wakes up in the morning to paint from dusk to dawn only to dream in vivid colours. Spiritual, it’s easy to get lost in the shapes which communicate motion, explosion… or maybe… an awakening.

Born in a closed off corner of the former soviet union, Vera matured and grew through force of will in a landscape which boasts both its cold climate and warm people.

Ready to emerge for her reveal, Vera has a lot to say. With fiery and passionate charm this artist finally asserts herself strongly on the Toronto scene.
