About this Event

Join Ecosource for a FREE ONLINE session on how to start your own vermicompost bin! Vermicomposting is a fantastic way to transform our food scraps into incredible natural plant fertilizer. We’ll share step-by-step how to put together, maintain and harvest worm castings from your vermicompost bin at home. This session is perfect for anyone interested in expanding their composting knowledge.

Topics that will be covered include:

- How to source and put together your own vermicomposting bin at home;

- How to maintain and troubleshoot your vermicompost bin;

- How to harvest nutrient-rich castings for your garden and/or house plants; and

- The role vermicomposting plays in our environment.

A Zoom link will be sent to your email before the session. Please email aparsons@ecosource.ca should you have any questions.
