Event description

Description

Want to contribute to building food sovereignty, local agriculture, and biodiversity in the Victoria region? Become a volunteer with the Victoria Seed Library!

The Victoria Seed Library is a joint partnership between the Greater Victoria Public Library and Lifecycles Project Society, and it exists to promote the good things mentioned above by offering people access to high quality seeds for growing vegetables, medicinal plants, herbs, native plants and pollinator-attracting species.

There are a variety of volunteer roles within the Victoria Seed Library: running our Seed Swap table at one of the GVPL branches, cleaning/testing/organizing our seed collection, promoting events, researching seed varieties, and more.

If any of these areas are of interest to you, please attend this orientation to hear more about how the Victoria Seed Library works and how we could use your help!
