AFRO VAN CONNECT – Just Above the Horizon
Just Above the Horizon is a digital performance for Black liberation. Told in an ensemble of six, this virtual production celebrates the complexities and beauty of the Black experience. From drumming, dance and spoken word to Indigenous African ceremony, this online piece is a multimedia expression of Black resistance. Just Above the Horizon is a digital collaboration between the Vines Art Festival and Afro Van Connect. Black Lives Matter.

By a particular person who is particularly far from her particular home, but has happened to find a particular life here amongst these particular trees and this particular water.
