This program is for adults. Priority will be given to confirmed RHPL members.
About the author: Hailing from Midland, Ontario, Dean is an established author and poet, having won and placed in dozens of international literary competitions. Most recently, he was awarded the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award in England - one of the world's richest prizes for a single poem ($4250), along with a Creators of Justice Literary Award from the International Human Rights Arts Festival in New York, the COP26 Poetry Competition in honour of the Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, Scotland and the Human Rights Poetry Competition sponsored by the UN-aligned organization in Finland. If that wasn’t enough he also published three novellas and a collection of short stories [Anthropocene] that garnered international attention, and multiple honours.
