This virtual event will offer an opportunity for attendees to broaden their understanding of the concepts of critical diversity and social justice in counselling, psychology, and psychotherapy. Specifically, attendees will learn about (a) the Group of Seven (and beyond) cultural identities and social locations, (b) the manner in which he Group of Seven intersect with one another to impact wellbeing and mental health; (c)the nature of the Group of Seven in mental health practitioners' own self-exploration; (d) the impact of the Group of Seven in clinical assessment and treatment planning; and (e) the role of contemporary approaches in counselling, psychology, and psychotherapy.
