About this event
Join Emily Baker, Curator at the Art Gallery of St. Albert for a virtual tour of our summer exhibition And All of Everything.
Postponed from 2021, this long awaited exhibition was created by the artistic duo of composer Gary James Joynes and visual artist Brad Necyk. An immersive audio/visual experience which transforms the Gallery features videos play in a never-ending loop on a monumental screen. Inspired by two iconic landscapes, the arid deserts of Joshua Tree, California, contrast beautifully with the lush forests of Avatar Grove on Vancouver Island.
Tour participants will learn more about the artist’s inspirations, how these entrancing digital works were created, and will take a deep dive into the collaboration that brought these works to the gallery.
Dates: Wednesday, June 29 at noon
Location: Virtual
Cost: Free (donations welcome)
