About this Event

Our first Virtual Wellness Day in November reached more than 5,000 participants and resulted in every participating organization requesting more! Now, GoodLife is excited to present our second event to promote employee connection and engagement. This action-packed day will feature informative and educational workshops from subject-matter experts, as well as our exceptional classes from award-winning GoodLife instructors. The purchase of one ticket will provide access for all associates within your organization. Please note: Should the date not work for your organization, a video recording of the sessions will be made available for a period after the live event.

8:30am - 9:15am EST - Fitness Class: BODYFLOW™

Comprised of a unique combination of Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates, BODYFLOW™ leaves you feeling centred and strong. Suitable for any fitness level.

10:00am – 11:15am EST - Wellness Workshop: ABCs of Nutritional Supplements

Are you confused when walking into a health food store? Which supplements do you need - and do you, in fact, need them? Find out why dietary supplements can be beneficial, the basics recommended for optimal health, how to store them, and key nutrients for specific health concerns.

12:00pm – 12:45pm EST - Fitness Class: Dance Cardio

Not too easy, not too challenging, this class is dance inspired cardio. Join this class for a sweaty and fun workout.

1:00pm – 2:15pm EST - Wellness Workshop: The Power of Sleep

As many as one in three Canadians suffer from insomnia. Sleep deprivation is an unrecognized cause of many problems, such as accidents, illness, and poor job performance. Find out how your sleep habits are affecting you, and how to get a good night’s sleep.

2:30pm – 3:45pm EST - Wellness Workshop: Immune Up: Preparing a Healthy Kitchen to Support Your Immune System

Shrinking grocery and take-out options are compelling us to change the way we shop for food and prepare meals. Learn about meal planning and food storage, as well as a review of specific foods, nutrients, and lifestyle recommendations that support the body’s immune responses.

4:00pm – 4:45pm EST - Fitness Class: High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

HIIT combines cardio, strength training and athletic conditioning. You’ll leave feeling stronger and more confident than ever, while burning calories long after your workout is over.
