Event description

Description

The need for more volunteers, clients and members leads many not-for-profits to cast their communications net at the ‘general public’ using every method possible without measuring what’s working for you—ultimately losing opportunities to generate meaningful results and real change.

Instead, NFPs need to make careful choices and prioritize so you are communicating strategically with limited resources. You must to choose the communication activities (brochures, website, social media, etc.) that actually reach your target audience and motivate them to take action.

Learning Objectives

In this 3-hour working session, you’ll be guided through the process to create an effective communications plan, from setting goals and understanding your target audiences, to crafting key messages and making informed decisions between communication methods.

Who Should Attend

Those with a solid understanding of your organization's priorities and stakeholders: Executive Directors, Senior Managers and Communications Managers
