VO Workshop: Uncover your NPO Website's Secrets with Google Analytics
Mon, 12 December 2016, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST
Your website has a great story to tell you…. You just need to uncover it.
Google Analytics provides you behaviour data about how people use your website, marketing programs, and more. There’s lots you can learn to make fact based decisions that save you time and money. But here’s the problem…
If you’re like many, it’s hard to dig out the really valuable decision making data from Google Analytics. And let’s be honest, simply knowing your page views and traffic sources doesn’t really help you make decisions.
Specifically for Not for Profit Organizations, in this introductory seminar we’ll cover the basics, of how you can use Google Analytics to reveal things like:
Which are your most valuable traffic sources posts?
What are most valuable pages?
How can I give my audience more meaningful website content?
Specifically for Not for Profits there will be a section about setting up Google Analytics in your Canada Helps Account and how to use this data strategically.
Your website has lots to tell you about visitor behaviour. Learn how Google Analytics tells you the story.
Prerequisites for attending this seminar: None
Who should attend:
Anyone with a website. This includes Executive Director, communications, and program managers.
I am looking forward to presenting Google Analytics to you at this seminar. My name is David Bird; I’m an Ottawa marketing entrepreneur helping organizations with their marketing and advertising. While being certified in Google AdWords I still insist customers need a proper Google Analytics set up so they can learn from their website traffic which programs perform best and which need improvement. I hope you come to this session; you will be glad you did.
