Voiceovers 101: Learn the Foundations of Commercial Voiceover Techniques
Event Information
Description
Have you been told you have a unique voice? Have you always wondered how to get into this fun and rewarding industry?
In a Saturday afternoon session, you will learn the foundations of commercial voiceover techniques and how you can earn $$ doing it successfully! In this beginner's course, you will learn the fundamentals of working with different scripts, working in different delivery styles for tv, radio, narration and some character work. We will work hands-on with you with diction, the dynamics of a script, tone of voice and what producers and clients want in a recording session with the talent.
The best part about this beginner's course will be working in a professional recording studio with an experience professional voiceover artist and recording engineer who will direct and advise you in each session. At the end of the course, you will leave feeling much more comfortable with working in a vocal booth, working with recording equipment, being directed by producers, AND you'll leave with a basic demo reel in MP3 format of your work!
