In preparation for the launch of these social events in April at the Coquitlam Library, the VoiceStory team is hosting a special training session for people and organizations that plan on attending and participating, to help support the event and our community.

The VoiceStory “Conversations and Connection Sessions” social events are about putting away cell phones, disconnecting from the hustle and taking a moment to be with yourself and other community members.

We start the event by having a discussion about the Art of Conversation to bring awareness to behaviours, language, how to listen and how to hold space in order for you to connect with another at a much deeper level. Next, we invite you to participate in our safe, friendly, empowered space, where we will facilitate rounds of 1-on-1 conversation by providing a topic/question for each round of conversation.

When and where is this event held?

The training session will be at the Coquitlam Library City Center Branch from 630pm- 800pm on Monday March 27, 2023.
