What: Become a volunteer for one the most awaited events of the year - MAX Gala! Help support an organization that breeds and congratulates excellence in the community!

When: Saturday, October 14, 2017 (2pm-10pm)

Where: Roy Thomson Hall (60 Simcoe Street, Toronto, Ontario)

Why: Because CivicMuslims volunteers, connects, and grows! Plus get the opportunity to network with high caliber groups, and give back in a way that matters!

Please note... There is a mandatory volunteer orientation session on Saturday, September 30th, 1pm-3pm in downtown Toronto. Details will be shared once you RSVP.

Volunteer positions include:

Registration - Stationed at guest services table to support guests with any concerns or challenges during check-in

Gala Decor - Assist in physical setup of the gala

Speakers and Presenters - Support coordination of the speakers and presenters to ensure a smooth program

Silent Auction - Support silent auction by assisting guests complete silent auction forms and to engage them in the auction

Prayer - Assist in physical setup of prayer space at the gala

General Ambassadors - Welcome and usher guests at the start of the gala

VIP Ambassadors - Welcome and usher guests an the start of the gala

Awards and Scholarship - Welcome and usher awards and scholarship winners at the gala

Volunteer positions are on a first come first serve basis. Depending on volunteer needs, you may be re-assigned to a different role. Note: the $5 volunteer registration fee is meant to be a symbolic fee to ensure that only committed volunteers sign up. Get your spot before it's too late! Deadline to RSVP is September 29th!
