Description
We’re thrilled to announce that Cultura Festival and Sunday Serenades, North York Arts’ summer festivals, are back! Are you looking for some fun event volunteer opportunities this summer? Join us for these free outdoor festivals at Mel Lastman Square.
**Attending one volunteer orientation (June 17 or June 19) is mandatory for new event volunteers**
Come and learn about the different event volunteer positions we have open this summer; NYA event volunteer tasks may include set-up and strike of the event, running the photo booth, and providing excellent customer service to patrons! Our positions are great for youth (+13) and for those looking to get involved in their local community, no experience is necessary for most positions. You will be able to sign up for positions after the orientation.
If you are a high school student and are looking for community hours you will receive 2 hours for attending the orientation!
"North York Arts’ events are a very fun, local way to get community hours and to meet new people at the same time." Summer Festival Volunteer
