Description

Are you looking for a Volunteer Opportunity?

We are searching for energetic volunteers to be a part of the 2017 Ride to Conquer Cancer Crew Team.

Our 2017 event will take place the weekend of August 26-27th. Starting in Surrey, Riders will embark on a 125km route through the scenic Pacific Northwest. After a long day of riding they will pull into our Camp in Mount Vernon where they are met with food, showers, masseurs, yoga instructors and a crowd of cheering friends, family and fellow Riders. After a much deserved night’s sleep they awake to fulfill their commitment by riding another 125km to our finish line in Redmond.

Every year we have amazing people come together to fundraise, volunteer and join the fight against cancer. Our job is to ensure the event is enjoyable, safe and an overall success. With the help of our Volunteers we set up Pit Stops and a Lunch stop along the route for Riders to refuel and refresh themselves. Our Crew are out in full force in Sweep vehicles to pick up Riders in need, our Moto Safety team warning Riders of hills, train tracks or other obstacles, providing medical support or helping repair flat tires and other bike issues. We use certified flaggers and local police to help in any high traffic or potentially unsafe areas.

Crew are with us for 2 days and receive the same amenities as riders; including: food, transportation, tent accommodation and an unforgettable experience.

Crew must be over the age of 18 (16-18 accompanied by adult).

- Receive 40 volunteer hours
- Build your resume
- Be a part of the fight against Cancer
