We are excited to send a team of CivicMuslims volunteers to help out at the next SMILE Youth Event, with a special twist: a Kitchen Science & Cooking day at the PC Cooking School at the Heartland Loblaws.

Get ready for an amazing day helping youth make lunch and run kitchen science experiments. Volunteers will be paired up with SMILE youth to ensure they have a fun, safe and engaging time.

Volunteers must be 18+. No prior experience necessary. A brief orientation will be provided by the SMILE team on-site.

Program:

• 9:30 am - volunteer registration
• 9:45 am - mandatory orientation
• 10:00 am - main program starts
• 12:30 pm - wrap up and reflections
