VOLUNTEERS for NHCA & Northstar Community Clean Up

Community Clean Up Event Helpers Needed!
We need volunteers on site at the Panorama e-centre to help with guiding traffic, helping to sign people in and out, monitoring disposal drop-offs, etc.
6 volunteers needed:
available 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM on May 27
able to help set up a tent and to stand / walk around for the whole shift
able to help direct traffic

If you need to cancel, please contact email@example.com by 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 25th, at the very latest so we can contact volunteers on the waitlist (see FAQs below).
** These positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis **
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
It is, but make 100% sure that the person who attends signs both in and out on the sign-in sheet on both nights, and that they put down your child's name, so your soccer volunteer deposit account is credited for the volunteer hours.
What do I do if I have to cancel?
Please contact the NHCA office by phone on 403-226-6422 as soon as you know and before 1pm on the Thursday before (May 25th). We really need all 6 volunteers and this will give us enough time to try and fill your spot with waitlisted volunteers.
Can I bring my kids?
Unfortunately for the above positions you will not be able to bring your child(ren) as it will be very busy and there will be a lot of cars and vans driving around the event site (not safe to leave children unattended). However, if you would like to bring your kids with you, we encourage you sign up for the clean up itself - bring the whole family and help clean up our neighbourhoods! Treat it like a fun, family walk through the Northern Hills, with the added benefit of beautifying your community at the same time :)
