INNOVATION SHOWCASE

A Celebration of Student Success Through Community Engagement

December 8, 2016 | 6 pm to 8 pm | Hamilton Central Library Auditorium | 55 York Boulevard

FREE ~ including a light dinner and refreshments

Join us as we showcase selected work of graduate students attending the W Booth School of Engineering Practice and Technology at McMaster University.

Students will present novel ideas currently in development to help address complex challenges in theme areas ranging from transportation and energy to water and climate change.

The program will also include an opening talk by Frank McKeown, Executive Director, Burlington Economic Development Corporation, on the origins and success of FreshInsights Consulting - a unique initiative to help recent postsecondary graduates transition to employment. The evening will close with a panel discussion on the topic of “School to Employment Transitions in a Changing World.”

The purpose of the event is to celebrate and support student learning while advancing the conversation on university-community engagement.

Presented in cooperation with the McMaster University Faculty of Engineering, Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and Hamilton Public Library.
