Walking Wednesdays

By Aurora Public Library

Overview

Join us every Wednesday for a fun and casual walk around the neighborhood, meet new people, and enjoy some fresh air!

Welcome to Walking Wednesdays!

Join us every Wednesday from 11 AM to 12 PM at the Aurora Public Library (meet in the lobby) for Walking Wednesdays, a weekly stroll through our community that blends connection, movement, and learning.

Each walk begins at the library and takes you on a casual route through town, where you'll enjoy fresh air, friendly faces, and fun facts about the library’s and Aurora’s history. Whether you're looking to stay active, meet new people, or learn something new, this is the perfect midweek boost. All ages welcome (anyone under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult) Dress & wear appropriately for weather conditions. Bring water bottle. Waivers must be signed prior to start date.

note: If there is inclement weather it will either be canceled for the day or meet indoors at Aurora Family Leisure Complex ( Be sure to check our socials each morning for any updates)
