This event is created and hosted by the Mind & Spirit Youth Leadership (MSYL) Committee. MSYL is a youth-led organization located in the Scarborough Junction neighbourhood. Our committee is dedicated to planning and implementing health programs, initiatives, and events that promote community strength, connectedness, and wellbeing.
We would like to acknowledge this sacred land on which this event is hosted. Toronto is located on the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat Confederacy, the Anishnabek Nation, Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the Mississaugas of the Scugog, Hiawatga, and Alderville First Nation and the present-day guardians, the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Today, Toronto is home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this territory. We would also like to recognize the contributions that all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples have made in building and strengthening this community.
