About this Event

Do you struggle with speaking in front of others? Join us to learn how Toastmasters can help improve your public speaking and build leadership skills by watching the World Championships of Public Speaking. See how ordinary people went from fearing to speak to small or large groups, to competing on the world stage. Be inspired and motivated by their courage and learned skills.

Each year, more than 30,000 Toastmasters compete in a contest. Watch contestants from all over the world deliver 5- to 7-minute speeches that are evaluated by a panel of experienced Toastmasters. After a year of competing in club, area, district, region, and semifinal competitions, these contestants have advanced for the chance to be the WorldChampion of Public Speaking.

Come and experience the benefits of the Toastmasters Educational program by watching this live stream from the Toastmasters International Convention in Denver, COL. Watch six amazing speakers in this first-time event of it's kind in the City of Brampton. Brampton Talks Toastmasters Club presents this opportunity, to show those that fear public speaking that with support, practice, and a friendly atmosphere, it is possible to be a confident speaker and leader.
