Event description

Description

We warmly invite you to participate in the Water: Poetics of the Landscape workshop, facilitated by Atelier Anonymous Global Landscape Foundation. The aim of this inclusive conversation is to engage local communities, regional government, industry, experts, and other key visionaries in a discussion to explore the poetic dimension of water: the meaning and significance it holds, its interface with the land, and the relationship people who live here have with it. We are interested in hearing your views on what needs to be done to give more opportunities to community to participate in the decisions being made that will have long term consequences on collective well-being. What positive contributions could be made to public policy, to improve and encourage the conservation of water? The workshop is a critical step in articulating a long term shared vision for the future of the Okanagan.

Short 'provocations' will be offered by:

  • Jeannette Armstrong
  • Jon Corbett
  • Bill Darnell
  • Nancy Holmes
  • Harold Rhenisch
  • Marlowe Sam
  • John Wagner
