ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
I was born and raised in Mexico City; now, I live in Calgary, AB, where I rediscovered my passion for art.
I like to explore different techniques like watercolours, acrylics and mixed media on any scale. My paintings are bold and vibrant; I am always looking to add a feeling of freedom to my art.
I have shown my work in collective local exhibitions with SpanicArts & Art Commons at the +15 galleries, the Consulate of Mexico in Calgary, the McDougall Centre Art Exhibit, cSPACE King Edward, Kiyooka Ohe Arts Center and others.
I have done one solo show, the “Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium,” where I show my latest collection, 2022, from April to August.
I love to explore, and I’ve created outdoor murals for community projects with Crescent Heights and Mount Pleasant.
I am the Bear and Unicorn Creative Company president, and I’ve been part of the SpanicArts Board for the past two years. I am also one of the founders of both the Mexican Woman Artist Collective and Motive Art Academy at Southcentre Mall.
