Waterloo Culture Days Information Session 2017
Wed, 3 May 2017, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM EDT
The City of Waterloo invites artists, organizations, and groups from across Waterloo Region to learn about Culture Days by attending a free workshop.
The Culture Days information session will be co-presented by Ontario Culture Days and City of Waterloo and will offer tools, tips, and resources for Culture Days artists, community groups, and activity organizers who are interested in hosting events in Waterloo. Last year, dozens of events were presented by artists and community organizers throughout the Region. The information session will offer additional opportunities for organizers to network, collaborate, and partner to deliver a range of activities in 2017.
Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture that takes place annually on the last weekend of September. Each year, Canadians from coast-to-coast plan and deliver activities to celebrate local artists, galleries, art centres, architecture, dance, visual arts, film, literature, new media, design, and culinary arts. With activities happening organizers in 800+ cities and towns across Canada, Waterloo is just one of the many cities to share to participate in the country wide celebration of arts and culture.
The Culture Days information session is open and free to all. Those interested in attending are asked to register in advance. For more information or to register to attend, please visit www.waterloo.ca/arts&culture.
