WatIF Conference 2014 (Expert registration)

Experts are considered to be any non-students currently working in the water industry including individuals in industry, government, NGOs, academia, for non-for profits, etc.

The Water Initiative for the Future (WatIF) 2014 is the 1st Canadian national conference to be hosted at Queen's University in Kingston, ON. The conference is designed to empower graduate students to become strong and passionate leaders in water-related careers. The entire conference is focused on the future; all conference activities will discuss future implications including workshops, plenary sessions, discussion groups, etc.
WatIF will encourage the flow and communication of ideas by providing students from across Canada an opportunity to share their research in a multidisciplinary environment. This will be accomplished by bringing together over 300 of the brightest graduate students from across disciplines (policy, health, engineering, geography, biology etc.) and regions of Canada who have one common passion: Water!
- Unite students across disciplines and geographical locations within Canada.
- Educate through the approach of students educating students in an innovative manner that encourages collaboration.
- Inspire the leaders of tomorrow to passionately pursue water-related careers.

Cost for Experts:
- Full conference: $225
- Expert Evening and Poster Hour (Monday, May 5, day2 ): FREE**
- Gala: $75
- Day 1 attendance, after 1pm (no lunch included): $40
-Day 2 attendance (May 5): $75
- Day 3 attendance (May 6) (only includes daily activities, not Gala): $75
**The Expert Evening will be on May 5, 2014 directly after the Poster Hour, which will begin at 5:00pm. Both, the Expert Evening and the Poster Hour will be one event and is free to all experts.
