Discover your family's passion and purpose!

About this Event

Based on the bestselling book The World Needs Your Kid by Craig and Marc Kielburger, this interactive, facilitated session give you and your family members the knowledge, tools and confidence you need to identify causes they’re passionate about, then develop and carry out your own plans to create real, measurable change. By making doing good doable, WE Families Workshops help adults and children make a positive difference in their community and around the world.

WE’s expert facilitators will guide adults and children (ages 8 and up) through interactive modules that include:

• Creating respectful spaces for discussing your views on local and world issues

• Developing empathy

• Identifying issues that are important to you and your family

• Discovering your gift: what are your unique skills and talents, and how can you use those to make a difference in the issues you’re passionate about?

• Creating an action plan (family workbook included for you to use during the session and then take home)

Workshop outcomes

• Adults and children identify causes they are passionate about in their local community and globally

• Families discover their own abilities and talents, and how they can apply them to making a real difference to their chosen cause while creating a legacy for future generations to build upon

• Parents learn how to raise caring and compassionate children, while their children come to understand the importance of giving back and how they can contribute now
