'We Matter' is an Indigenous led non-profit group committed to Indigenous youth empowerment, hope and life promotion. Their mission is to communicate to Indigenous youth they matter and to provide resources to encourage and support those going through hard times while fostering unity and resiliency. Teacher Candidates will receive a WE Matter teacher toolkit that will help begin and sustain conversations on hardships, hope and healing with Indigenous youth in classroom and group settings from a culture and strengths-based perspective.
