Weaving Wednesday at Le Louvre - Basic Weaving Workshop with Be Coffee
Overview
Weaving Wednesday at Le Louvre- Basic Weaving Workshop with Be Coffee
Come join us for a fun and a culturally enriching basic weaving workshop at BeCoffee!
Learn more about the traditions of Philippine handwoven textiles, their origins, contexts, and witnessing these textiles in person.
This beginner-friendly session introduces participants to traditional techniques using a simplified frame loom—perfect for all ages and backgrounds.
Each participant will be guided step-by-step in creating their own handwoven piece while learning about the cultural stories behind the patterns and threads.
The workshop runs for 2 hours and includes all materials. Best of all, participants get to take home their own frame loom to continue weaving beyond the class.
Whether you're joining as an individual or organizing for a school, cultural space, or community event, this hands-on experience promises creativity, connection, and culture—all woven into one.
