Finding inputs that can be used in organic systems in Canada is a challenge due to the absence of a centralized database. Join COTA (Canada Organic Trade Association), OMRI (the Organic Materials Review Institute) and CABI (Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International) to explore a new web tool to help operators and certifiers easily find organic products reviewed by OMRI against Canada Organic Regime (COR) standards.*

Date: The date is tentative and will be confirmed to all registrants well in advance

This webinar will provide a:

· Brief overview of the organic input process and ways to verify if it is approved for use in Canada.

· Demo of the OMRI/CABI BioProtection Portal, where users can easily find OMRI-certified biological control products via the website and app (www.bioprotectionportal.com). Available in 45 countries, this portal is the world's largest free resource for biological plant protection.

· Q&A session

*The final verification that an organic input meets COR requirements rests with the operator's certification body.
