About Meghan:

As an epidemiologist, Meghan has extensive experience in research methodology. Her research interests focus on bridging the gap between individual research studies and the use of evidence to change practice. She has taught numerous workshops on knowledge synthesis and systematic reviews and is a member of the Cochrane Training Network.

Meghan works as a SPOR Program Coordinator, Knowledge Synthesis, for the Alberta SPOR SUPPORT Unit Knowledge Translation Platform

  • Relate why evidence syntheses are important in evidence-based research

  • Summarize the steps involved in a systematic or scoping review

  • Explain the role of quality assessment

  • Outline possible analysis methods
