Webinar Description:

As the field of knowledge translation (KT) continues to grow and change so do the professional development opportunities for KT professionals. This webinar will touch on the various KT education opportunities available across Canada and highlight the evolution of the KT training offered at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

Presenter Bio:

Kelly Warmington is the Knowledge Translation Program Manager at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). Her work focuses on building capacity for knowledge translation (KT) across SickKids. She teaches and consults across the organization. Prior to joining the SickKids team, Kelly worked as a clinical researcher at St. Michael’s Hospital. She holds degrees in Biomedical Science, Teaching, and Adult Education and she is a certified Project Management Professional. Her professional interests include chronic diseases, patient education, clear language communication, and innovation. Kelly enjoys photography, running, and reading and she is a registered yoga instructor.
