Description

Are you inspired to bring yoga beyond studio walls and out into your community?

Join me online for a conversation with Yoga Service Council Vice President, Carol Horton, Ph.D. to learn about the unique challenges and rewards of teaching yoga in non-traditional settings such as prisons, homeless shelters, veteran centers and more. We’ll discuss recent developments and trends in yoga service and how you can get involved with existing service projects or initiate your own.

Carol Horton, Ph.D., is the author or editor of four books and many articles on yoga. She serves as Vice President of the Yoga Service Council and was a co-founder of Chicago’s Socially Engaged Yoga Network. A certified Forrest Yoga instructor, Carol has taught yoga in many diverse locations, including Cook County Jail. www.carolhortonphd.com

All proceeds from your registration will be donated to the Yoga Service Council and the World Spine Care Yoga Project!
