Webinar - Understanding the Grievance Procedure

Course Description

Resolving disputes in the unionized context requires managers to understand and feel confident when particpating in the grievance process -- from informal discussion through to preparing for arbitration.
This interactive 45-minute webinar will provide participants with a clear understanding of:

  • what a grievance is;
  • the purpose and impact of the grievance process in the workplace and the relevant legal framework;
  • the role that union representatives and managers have inside of the grievance procedure; and
  • how to investigate, prepare and respond to grievances at each stage of the process.
