Online and Onsite Meditation Class - Changing Our Mind For a Better World
Wednesday 6 July, 7 - 8:30pm
online and onsite
with Kadampa Buddhist nun, Gen Kelsang Kunden
Everyone needs to have a good heart. All our happiness comes from our good heart and we grow, develop and maintain our good heart through meditation. .One of the main purposes of a good heart is to develop compassion for living beings, and a deep wish for living beings to find a real and lasting happiness. How is this possible? Generally, we don’t usually think that our thoughts or way of thinking have much power to create a better world. In fact, Buddha taught extensively on the creative power of our thoughts – that our thoughts do create our world. What world are we creating now? What world do we want to create? Join us to learn Buddha’s practical suggestions explaining how change our mind for a better world through meditation practice. We can learn to create a better world with every thought.
In this series of classes we will learn to increase our compassion and love for others and learn the power of correct imagination with practical and powerful meditations and contemplations.
These classes are based on the books The Mirror of Dharma with Additions and The New Eight Steps to Happiness. Come and along and learn how to make your life deeply meaningful. Every welcome.
