Welcome Cyclists Network in Haliburton County

This workshop is brought to you by Transportation Options in partnership with County of Haliburton Tourism.

Welcome Cyclists Workshops were initially developed in the Niagara region in 2008. Following their enthusiastic reception and further market research, the Welcome Cyclists Network was launched in 2010 in 8 regions across Ontario: the County of Frontenac, Niagara, Hamilton, Halton, Peel, York, Durham and Northumberland. Since then the Network has expanded to include The Great Waterway Region (RTO9), Our Favourite Place (RTO8), Manitoulin and LaCloche Foothills, Haldimand, Norfolk and Haliburton Counties.

To date, a total of 785 attendees have registered for 28 workshops. There are now over 550 Welcome Cyclists participating locations across Ontario.
