About this event

This one-hour lunch and learn remote ZOOM workshop is designed to give participants practical tools to help manage stress at work. Recognize the physiology of stress and rest and practice short one to five minute activities that can be employed any time they are needed to settle the mind and bring the body back to a calm state. Benefits of building a regular use of these tools are a more balanced response to workplace demands and a happier work day. This interactive workshop will be of interest to all levels from front-line, administration, and CEO.

ABOUT YOUR TRAINER:

Cathy Carphin has worked extensively in the housing and support service to people experiencing homelessness sector in Greater Victoria, as well as considerable experience as a Human Resource professional and business administrator. Not only is she familiar with workplace burnout but has personal experience living through personal and family illness and death. Her background gives her personal and practical experience which she shares with others.
