Description

Stressed? Overwhelmed? Stuck indoors studying? You might need to reconnect with nature.

The University of Saskatchewan Student Wellness Centre, presents a six-week workshop series for students exploring the value of re-connecting with nature for greater health and wellbeing.

Beginning Thursday, September 19th, 2019 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm in the Marquis Hall Meeting Room 104, join Ken MacLeod, a therapist with the Student Wellness Centre, to learn the importance of intentional nature engagement as a part of overall wellness. Drawing from ecopsychology, the nature connection movement, permaculture, deep ecology, eco-philosophy, and other disciplines, the workshops are intended to help people reconnect with that which sustains and regenerates us. Through indoor and outdoor education, story sharing, exercises, and practices come learn to re-connect naturally in meaningful ways.

Free for all U of S students. It's ideal if you can come to each session in order to create a connected and consistent group. Each session has a unique theme and builds on previous sessions.
