This one day workshop is a chance to hear and share about interesting iniaitives targeting stroke best practices and QBP's througout our own region as well as learning what teams are doing in other hosptials around the province:
The objectives of this day included:

Profile stroke system accomplishments over the past year which have happened within our own region

Showcase current best practice initiatives and innovations being used by clincial teams from other regions which may be adopted for use in your area of practise.

Strengthen engagement and collaboration among stakeholders
This workshop is appropriate for any clinicians, clincial teams, managers or educators working in stroke care who want to learn more about ways to work on the following:
1. Reducing Acute LOS for stroke patients
2. Improving interprofesional team work
3. Improving ability to meet Rehab LOS targets while maintinaing good functional outcomes for stroke patients
You will also learn about regional iniaitives teams have undertaken to improve the stroke patient experience and which align with stroke best practices. There will be time set aside for Q and A and networking.
