Description
Dance, eat, socialize, and be inspired all while helping transform the lives of youth!
Youth Unlimited's fourth annual Westcoast Formal will be bringing nothing but the best! This incredible night features the musical guest Phonix, appies competition with local chefs (you choose the winner), a Westcoast Silent Auction.
Tickets include a sampling of food from innovative chefs across Vancouver (Including the Rolling Cashew, Kula Foods, the Incognito Chef and Save on Meats), and your first drink on us, whether a craft beer from Black Kettle Brewing or a select wine from Everything Wine. You'll top the night off with specialty ice cream from our generous partners Earnest Ice Cream.
This wonderful celebration and fundraiser isn't just a (really) great time--it's also a time to hear about some of the incredible work your support is doing and to be encouraged and inspired what can happen when you invest in the life of a struggling teen.
Details:
- PARKING -
Free parking after 6pm at the ICBC parkade (151 Esplanade W), metered parking along Wallace Mews and at the Pinnacle Hotel
- TRANSIT -
The Pipe Shop is a 5 minute walk from Lonsdale bus exchange and Sea bus terminal, so it's accessible no matter where you're coming from!
- ATTIRE -
- Since the Westcoast (bestcoast) is a bit more relaxed, a westcoast formal is more cocktail dress and not so much traditional formal. Try out your hipster chic or dress up a bit from where you normally start... and then don't sweat it, just come and enjoy.
Don't forget you dancing... you won't be able to stay seated when Phonix is up!
- 19+ Event (special exceptions upon request)
- Ticket Door Price: $60 (watch for early bird discounts while supplies last)
About Youth Unlimited:
We've been helping at-risk and vulnerable youth in nine cities across Greater Vancouver for decades. We run innovative drop-ins, programs of all sorts (arts, sports, meals, parenting) and provide support for kids in foster care, prisons and gangs, as well as those struggling with mental illness, bullying, homelessness and isolation. Our kids are amazing; we want to help remove barriers to their flourishing. It's never been easier or more fun to help... thank you for your support!

About the organizer
Connecting youth. Transforming lives.
A place of connection and transformation, Youth Unlimited helps young people discover their potential. If they feel alone, marginalized, vulnerable or just need somewhere fun but safe to connect to we’re here to walk with them, help them learn life skills, support their growth as a person, and discover their potential. We do this through activities, arts, sports, camps, drop-in centres, youth groups and a myriad of other programs accessible throughout Greater Vancouver.
