You will learn to work natural fibre into felt and arrange the pieces to form a poppy to wear on your lapel for many a Remembrance Day. Your piece will still be a bit damp at the end of the workshop so bring a little bag to carry it home. The stamen, any beaded embellishments and a broach pin should be added once the poppy is dry and will be demonstrated in class. I will be at the festival Saturday through Sunday and would encourage you to visit along with your poppy especially if you are having any difficulty with the finishing.
