About this event
In celebration of World Wetlands Day (Feb 2nd) we're hosting a series of lunch and learn webinars highlighting various wetland projects and topics in Atlantic Canada. Join us every Wednesday for the month of February at 12:00pm AST for these presentations.
For Feb 8th, join DUC Conservation Specialist Izzy Clarke and Alex Cadel, Nova Scotia Specialist with CLIMAtlantic as they introduce you to resources related to Wetland and Climate Change Education. Learn about the ecosystem services wetlands provide and how they are assessed, what the climate outlook is for Nova Scotia, how wetlands will be affected by climate change, and how important they are in climate change adaptation and mitigation. This includes an overview of a new education module "Wetlands Work: An Introduction to Atlantic Wetlands for Professionals", and CLIMAtlantic's climate resource hub.
