Join the BC Wildlife Federation and renowned Wetland Restoration expert Tom Biebighauser (Center for Wetlands and Stream Restoration) over 2.5 days and learn how to design a wetland restoration plan. Tom has restored over 1400 wetlands across North America and will cover topics such as:

  • The benefits of restoration
  • The history of wetland drainage in North America
  • Principles of wetland design

Other workshop topics covered may include:

  • Soil sampling
  • Designing wetlands for waterfowl
  • Invasive species removal
  • Mapping wetlands using GPS technology
