The Marquee Noon Hour Series invites you to thought-provoking discussions on issues shaping the world for women, girls, gender diverse, and two spirit peoples. In this session, you'll hear what would make a city safer from a multitude of community members, young and old. You'll leave with your hearts open to how many people experience the same city in different ways, to help inform how cities can be designed for all.
This session is part of the City of Vancouver's UN Safe Cities work, which feeds into a larger strategy for building safer public spaces for all Vancouver residents.

Chesha7 iy lha muns” is a three generation group of mothers and daughters. We have shared local stages at events that are focused on indigenous c I’multures and ceremonial activism. We share songs and stories of women from our nation. Our rich cultural diversity shows our strength from our ancestors. We strive to bring positive elements of life givers to the communities we present to. We are mainly focused on local events in Skwxwu7mesh and Sto:lo lands and waters.
