Presented by Ahuri Theatre and the Bottom's Dream Collective in partnership with the Miles Nadal JCC
What Dream it Was is an interactive theatrical playground inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It is an immersive installation created and facilitated by artists with mixed abilities. In the bleak of winter, we invite community members into a warm space to participate in a number of artistic activities including music, visual art, live performance and sensory experiences. It is a relaxed environment where visitors can engage at their own pace, according to their own interests and abilities. It’s a world where inclusion, respect and kindness are the rule rather than the exception. It’s a world where magic can happen.

This relaxed experience lasts approximately 60 minutes, but visitors are free to come and go as they wish. It is suitable for all ages and abilities. The Miles Nadal JCC is TTC accessible and includes accessible washrooms and spaces. There will be ASL interpretation and attendant care available for visitors (if you require these, please call 416-419-0516). All youth 14 & under must be accompanied by an adult.
As part of our commitment to making this work accessible, admission to the installation is by donation at the door. However, for those who feel they can afford to pay, we are offering a limited number of prepaid tickets ($25 general, $15 youth) that allows the purchaser to jump to the front of the line.
